I'm ordering a new cat choker and was curious on what folks think. I'm going to order a 12' for sure, but was curious if folks use 1/2" diameter cable or 3/8". 1/2 is rated to 3800 lbs and 3/8 is 2200 lbs. I know the thicker one is stronger, but is it harder to work with? I know i can get away with the 3/8 guy since I'll be mainly hauling logs out with an ATV....maybe a small utility tractor.
