Question:

Hello webmaster and thank you for your site.My question is which way should the ceiling fan be turning to circulate the heat from a woodstove. Thank You Brian

Answer:

I say down..toward the living area. I've heard it said to run them up in winter, but common sense tells me that pressing the warm air against the cold ceiling might result in more heat loss out the roof. I like them down.
