Question:

I am curious to know if you know where I can get ceramic pinecones for my gas fireplace. I would like something that will cover the pilot lighting mechanism and the only thing I know of is the ceramic pinecones. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer:

Assuming that you are speaking about the pinecones for a vented gas log set. These can be found at most Hearth Stores, and cost about $16. for an assortment of 4 different sizes.

If you are referring to a gas insert then you cannot modify the log set unless the manufacturer offers additoinal logs, pinecones etc. (I have never seen one that does)
