Currently have a 16" mac. Would like to get 2nd bigger more powerful saw for larger jobs and redundancy. Have used a friends large saw that sounded like a dirt bike and cut like crazy. I don't need anthing that big. I am thinking of a 20" I would like to buy something used. Give me some suggestions please. Homeowner use, probably 1-2 times per week use.

I would say you will want over 60 cc's. I just picked up a 7300 on eBay and am happy with the purchase. Just keep watching it and an occasional 440 or 372XP will slip through at around $350-375, Just make sure the seller has a 99-100% rating.

gzecc, do you really need a saw with a 20" bar? I've run a 16" bar for years with no problem. But if you have only big stuff, then you need it. Just be sure you need it. Too long of a bar will also take a lot more power.
