Chalk Reel

Why can't I get this chalk line to reel in.

It won't reel in, I put some chalk in (filled halfway) pulled some line out then tried to reel some in, nothin and it's brand new.

I was thinking that also so I went out and have it at about 1/4 instead of 1/2 and still the same. I think it has something to do with the push button.

Try taking it all out knock it on something like you would a 660 air filter. Line prop ally bound up on its self.
