well I finally had to work on the stove, Harman Invincible circa 1990
last year the combustion fan started rattling a little
cleaned and oiled it , quited down
upon start up this year, was noisier than usual
picked up a replacement to keep on hand
Friday night I could hear it speed up/ slow down
shut down Saturday and replaced
WOW cant even hear it run now
and the fire is alot hotter although it does not appear any different
house went up 3 degrees with no other changes and it colder out
new fan from Harman all ball bearing and appears a little larger windings
also appears this fan fits about all the Harman stoves
I am happy
oh only 118 dollars

not sure, bought a Harman replacement
very easy, I also bought a new impellar because
from cleaning the stove I knew the old one was not coming off
after all those years
for 118 dollars I did not think it would be worth sourcing and
having to swap over cooling fan assy.

That's a lot cheaper than the combustion fan on the Quad 1200i !!!!!! It runs 282.00 MSRP.

Is that typical of the Harman parts that they are cheaper than Quad parts?

Thanks,

AR

Wow Ironpony that's a lot of pellets you've got there!!! I've got one of those Dodge Cummins too 96 model.
You sure won't be running out of pellets any time soon. Sounds like you caught the price right!!
