Changing the Igniter on a Hudson River West Point?

Hello

Has anyone done this? I cannot find any instructions!

I took some pics. Igniter under burn pot see pic 1

The igniter wires have spade clips and can easily be disconnected from inside the stove by openning the right side door see pic 2

Wires come up thru hole in air intake tube. See pic 3

Set screw that holds igniter in tube near back end. See pic 4

After removing the ash pan;
Do you have to remove the burn box and igniter tube? Can you just loosen the set screw on the igniter tube and pull out the igniter?
The bolts on the burn pot box are large so they should come off easy.
How long is this igniter?

The Hudson River West Point and Sarnac Stoves I hear takes a 6.25 inch long 300 watt igniter? So this 6" long igniter from Grainger will do the trick for cheap money!

Just remove the air intake tube Don. Then you can get to the set screw and pull the igniter back and out.

Thanks Smokey that's a great help! Much better than the manual! It does not have anything on the ignitor removal!

Hopefully it isn't as space tight as the Saranac changing the igniter is a knuckle scraper job requiring a flexible shaft on the driver and/or a contortionist to do the job.
