Cherry Pits in a Quad

    I have been burning a cherry pit/pellet mix for about 3 weeks now. I have a new Mt Vernon AE. Has anyone else burnt these in there stove. I get a Min. Firepot Temp. error when i burn straight pits. With the mix i can only get good heat with it on the Sunflower Seed Setting and Flame Height on +5. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated
