Any reason I can't cover over the pellet cap with the former mesh cover like the other two? I also see the chimney cap install is lifted up and the install guy simply filled with silicone...nice job...Chimney cap cover...and cover

Feeling the Heat
During the burn season you dont want mesh on the exhaust because the ash precipitates and will eventually block it. I use 1/4" in the off season and then pull it off during burn season.
