My chimney cleaner recommended that I use a granular anti-creosote product to help keep the chimney clean. But my stove is a catalytic. I am wondering if, even with the bypass open, would the chemicals damage the combustor?

Thanks!

If your burning right you shouldn't need any chemicals...once a year cleaning should yield very little.
