A builder put the house up for himself 30-some years ago. Had some real quirky features to it, but the house had potential and we fell in love with the lot/location. During major remodeling in '08 we had to be very careful not to even touch that staircase, because if we did, we'd have to rip it completely out and bring it up to code. Rick

A good craftsman loves challenges. It keeps life interesting. This would be an easy one. Looks like he was having fun.
