Hi all,

I bought old Squire 50500 Fireplace insert. I'd like to use it as a stove (my house does not have fireplace nor chimney).

I need to build a chimney. I am thinking of using this kit

Does it make sense ? What I am not sure is what diameter of chimney pipe I should use. Shell it be 8" or 6" is fine ?

To connect stove to a stove pipe I am thinking of using a boot, base on suggestion in this thread

Thanks in advance, Alexi
