Chimney install question

I am replacing a Preway fireplace with a kozyheat Z42. I am almost ready to remove the preway and install the z42. When I do this what's the best way to remove the exisitng triple wall chimney and the best way to install the new metal fab class A chimney? From the roof top, from the basement, etc.. Do I pull it up or remove it section by section in the basement?
