Had the Oil Burner serviced today......guy said we had a brokenFlue Tile....he broke it up and vacuumed it up. Also said ort draft was a 3 out of 4.....not sure what he meant, Wife handled this. If there is a broken Tile, how important is it to get this fixed ???....can we just run a stack in the flue, just like the Insert ???

the flue tiles are *less* critical for an oil burner... still quite important though.. where exactly was the flue tile in the chimney?

not sure....I'm gonna make a call this morning for more info. As long as there is no chance of Carbon Monoxide poisoning, I'll let it go.
