Chinese tallow ok in wood stove?

A quick google search says that the sap is "reputed" to be toxic. The wax from the seeds is supposed to be non toxic and used for making candles.

I think I'd personally pass on it.

I think it would be OK to burn. Any toxicity in the sap will be destroyed in a nice hot stove. You'll be doing Louisiana a favor by burning Tallow Trees.
