Another favorite comes to mind...Robert Earl Keene's "Merry Christmas From The Family"

I own the book in the video too :) I'm on my iPad and can't get the video to save to post but here is the link:

    PS
    Fishingpol,
Nice avatar, I myself have an unhealthy obsession with" A Christmas Story." I saw the musical last year in Hershey, PA and just saw it on Broadway a few weeks ago. LOVE IT!

My tolerance for Christmas music shrinks every year. See me next week. I may be ready by then.

All these songs take me immediately back to my youth, just about as close to being a time machine as it could be.......

We celebrate Christmas for over a month and a half in our family. I love this time of year more than any other......my kids already relish in the memories of their Christmases. And they love these old songs too! They just don't make music that stands the test of time nowadays.....these songs will endure for generations.

I have CD's/digital burned from records from the late 60's to early 70's. Time Life and Goodyear produced records. Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Steve Lawrence, Tony Bennet, Perry Como, Dean Martin etc.

That's all the good stuff! I remember all the Ray Conniff Christmas albums, the Colonel Sanders Christmas album (remember that one?), lol.....all of that old music takes me back. They just don't make music like that anymore. Most of this contemporary Christmas music makes me wanna throw up.

Pretty sure parents have most or all of those in their old very large stash of LP's.I'll have to take a look sometime.

Dad gave me his 1966 Beatles Revolution (mono) LP when I was 15,that was over 30 yrs ago....

My BIL and his clan are big into them. They make an annual pilgrimmage to Boston for St. Patricks Day without fail.

Trans Siberian Orchestra is my favorite Christmas music. I like the Murphy's too. Had a chance to go see them play Fenway but i had to work the next day and didnt have enough bail money.
