Checking CL, the prices for a cord of wood have gone down the past month.
Found some birch. $160 rounds - $180 split/ cord. Most now is $200/cord mix birch spruce. Was $250 birch & $200 spruce.
More competition or more supply, I don't know.
Also found log length - 8 cords $800.
Now is the time to buy, so it can season all summer,
How prices holding in your area?

I've seen your stacks, you're just giggling about how much money you're saving, aren't you. %-P

Same here. I saw $155 c/s/d hardwood from a guy I bought from 2 years ago at $160. Happy to see it.

Sales always slow around mid Feb. I assume it does for the other wood jockeys too. They are prolly trying to stimulate some sales for last minute cash flow before spring breaks.
I don't ever lower my price. It is what it is. Quality wood.

paper and CL - same as Fall.
Aug / Sept is usually up a bit high, like everyone is testing the market.
