So apparently I haven't done my homework. I thought I purchased a P61-2 but in actuality I purchased a Pellet Pro II. Any huge differences other than the age? The circuit board was hit by lightning so it was replaced with what appears to be a new P61 circuit board. I'm assuming these stoves are very compatible because they are so similar. The BTUs should be close too I would hope? Hope I made a good purchase. I read reviews on here they seem pretty positive. Thing is built like a tank.

Well I'm guessing from the crickets in the room and my own research that I've been a bit shafted on this deal. This stove is so damn clean though, you could eat off it! I think it has been very well maintained. Here's hoping to it carrying me through a few winters.

Well I wouldn't worry so much about the crickets your referred to. Being that you are new, you may not yet realize that if someone misspells Harman all hell breaks loose around here. Same thing happens when beer is brought up.

Here you have both so the topic is destined to go off the rails for a while. :p

Sometimes it come back, sometimes it turns to a train wreck. That's part of what makes this dysfunctional family of ours tick ;lol

Speak for yourselves!!! Welcome aboard AddictiveStew (what does that mean) it depends on how much you paid for the unit, not to make you feel any worse I would take a P61, there are more experts here that will quantify that some parts for the pellet pro II are not available anymore. They are built like tanks and a great stove in it's day. Plus it's a HARMAN:cool:
