Finally solved my chimney draft problem. I fear the burner tubes have become plugged by constant low firing. I am looking for any hints to clean the tubes or to check if they are plugged.

Take the screw out of the left side of the tube where it is attached to the manifold, push the tube to the right. Lower the left end into the firebox and pull it out of the hole in the right manifold.

Page 15 in the owner's manual.
