Cleaning my Magnolia stove

    My stove vents out the top, and straight up, other than pulling up the sliding piece of smoke pipe, is there another way to clean the top?

    I believe the new ones can be cleaned from inside and the old ones need to have the pipe disconnected. We have the old ones.:(
