We have decided to do a pre-emptive sweep of the flue on our new Jotul black bear that has been in use for the last two months. There is a short angled length of pipe inside the house that prevents a really clear view of the entire flue, so we figured we'd run a brush through it to be on the safe side. Looking for any tips on what to do or not to do =)
Also someone on this board mentioned previously that on most Jotuls the top of the stove comes off to facilitate cleaning. I can't see how and was looking for tips on that too.
Thanks!
