Decided we should clean the inside pipe (single wall) after over 5 cord was burned since installation in april 09, I was very happy with what I saw. Just the fluffy stuff, the first five pictures are of the pipe and thimble then the next two are after we cleaned it.

Lookin good Zap. Just like I do mine at the thimble. Except I finally discovered I don't have to poke a hole in the bag. I just grab the rod with the bag around it and scrub away.

Thanks BrotherBart, I guess the hole in the bag started when I cleaned the pellet stove pipe outside and needed both hands so that is why the whole and bungee cord came in use.
