Can anyone tell if a Avantage II-T combustion fan motor will interchange with a standard Avantage model. Thank You

the housings are a little different. The Adv II-T housing allows you to actually remove the blower without removing the housing. The shape & bolt pattern should match up just fine though. Maybe rod can confirm since I don't have a book anymore but I think the part# in the service parts manual is the same # for both.
Thank You, the Adv II must be similiar to the Quest model setup. Just straight forward.. pull the motor and fan as a unit. The Avantage model as you describe must have a housing between the motor and fan. Yes, No, maybe. Thanks for the info.

Actually the Advantage II-T is more similar to the setup of the Advantage. The blower has a mounting plate that mounts to the housing. It has 6 screws that you remove and you can remove the blower motor and impeller as a unit. The Advantage has a solid housing where the motor and impeller are actully mounted to the housing itself which requires removal of the vent pipe to pull the combustion blower. But yes, just remove one blower with housing and install the new blower with housing.
That's a bummer, you can't seperate the impeller from the motor and repair it that way. You have to order a motor/impeller and housing as a one piece unit? Thanks again.

It can be separated and repaired, it just requires that you disconnect the vent and then remove the entire housing, rather than simply removing 6 screws and taking the motor and impeller out. Where the bummer part comes in is that Whitfield won't sell just the motor, impeller or housing separately they all come as a unit. If you can get the #'s you might have luck finding something with Grainger or a similar outfit.
As long as it can be seperated i'm good with that, I have a line on a motor or believe I do. We'll see when I pull it apart tonight.

Quest are different and there is 3 differnt ones for the quest depending on year and insert or freestanding.
