Also make sure the air hole from the top of the air inlet tube into the bottom of the ignitor tube is clear. I worked on a stove that was 1 y/o and never self ignited. LOL
The stove should ignite after pressing the On button in 4-6 minutes.
When buying a display unit, check to see all the parts including the wear plate is in the stove. That is the bottom of the burn pot. After installing the stove, it could not be used until one was sent from the factory. Luckily I had a loaner from a rebuild so the stove could be used for the first week. LOL
