Control valve C505 - for log splitter

Have this control valve C505 on my log splitter & would like to
know if there is a way to adjust it. It releases to quickly
when reversing the wedge. Enclosing a few photos. Thanks
for your help

The cap screw under the 2009 date in your pic is where the detent adjustment is made.
