Hi All-

Winter is coming to Ohio, so of course I got my Whitfield Advantage II stove ready for a cold year.
The stove worked great for the first couple weeks, but stopped working a couple weeks ago. I could hear the convection fan slowing down and stopping. I removed the back panel checked the fan and it would slowly spin starting and stopping. I figured that the fan had gone bad. I bought a new fan this morning and replaced it. Plugged the stove in and started the fan and this one does the same thing. What am I missing??

I think it's your Control Board. How old is the stove.

The stove came with my house when I bought it. The house was built in '91, as far as I know it was installed then. My neighbors said that the owners never used it, so it is like new.
