I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who lives in northern
North Dakota near the Canadian border. He said the snow is waist
high, and just keeps falling. The temperature is dropping way below
zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. His wife
does nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. He
said that if it got much worse, he might have to let her in.

Yes, me too. Thanks

1 degree this morning and 67 inside. Geting spoiled with 70 degrees so I bumped up my 10-cpm 1 more heat setting. Afraid of overfiring the stove, so far no E code. Running 3-8 on heat and blower and 4-5-1 on bottom settings. I'm seeing 385 degree air temps coming out of the stove with 600 degree+ temps for the burn area. This stove is a monster. Naking a heat echanger out of 1/2 stainless for hot water storage to zone my basement. That will be for next season. Going through 1.75 bags every 24 hours this weekend.
