We have an old Jotual Combi Fire #1. I just noticed a two-inch crack near the draft regulator. Anyone has any suggestions on how to repair the crack before it gets bigger?

Feeling the Heat
Google "stop drilling" and get the info you need. Basically a small drill hole at each end of the crack stops the crack from progressing as the drill hole spreads the stresses over a larger area. Then fill the crack with something like a furnace cement.
