Hi,

We have an industrial roaster. Recently, we were doing maintenance and after pulling out the drum we've noticed that the mortar we've applied along the surface of the walling have developed a lot of cracks. The super-duty air-set refractory mortar we used is 47.03% Aluminum Oxide. My questions is should we be using a different kind of mortar that is specifically used for surface walling of the firebricks.
