Did a six hour burn outside today with the new Ashford. Still need to build the hearth and get the flue installed.

Ha awesome.

How did the burn do?

It went well. I put 7 to 8 feet of pipe on it worked fairly well. The paint is about 80 percent cured on the stove now, so it won't smoke the house as much. I let it burn for about 6 hours.

That was a good idea, curing the paint outdoors. I followed the manual on mine - after it was installed in the house. After the third burn I couldn't smell anymore curing, after the fourth burn my wife couldn't either.
