Daydreaming while splitting Black Birch and Oak

I was daydreaming about the Doublemint Twins while splitting my Balck Birch because of its minty smell.

Then I was splitting my Oak and it reminded me of peppered steak. I couldn't find a decent picture of peppered steak or maybe they don't look so good next to the twins. Am I crazy or does Oak have a peppery smell?
