Please be aware that when I clean out the ashcan, classifieds, etc. that it is likely that your individual post counts will go down. If they go down a lot, that means you were spending too much time in the Can.

The moral of the story is twofold:

1. Do not be attached to your words - they come and go (Oh, grasshopper)
2. Don't be obsessed with post counts.

Between these two yogas, you are well on the way to full enlightenment.
 
It could have been a long time ago. Also remember that I and the other moderators often delete posts that don't add to a conversation...and even topics. If you have 8 posts in one topic, the count will go down fast.

If your count went down heavily....well, hate to say it, but it means you are guilty as charged! Mine went down about a thousand, so I am first to hang.
