I Never worried about the ignitor. Just wanted a warm house. I like the low and slow approach. Now, I got a stove that can do it all.

Bought a couple back ups. Ended up putting one in a Castile I picked up to flip. 5 yrs old, with a Bum ignitor.

Just sayin. Chit happens...
