I will look into the indirect and get some quotes as well as turning my boiler to a cold start. Once the money tree starts dropping blessings again.

Please tell us the make, model & age of your oil boiler.
Do you have propane in the house, or access to natural gas?
If your water is 'good', you shouldn't have the problems you're having with your water heater - something seems not right there somewhere. Oil would likely be the last way I would heat my DHW, especially using a boiler that is not cold start that is heating nothing else.
