I'm installing a VC resolute with a coal conversion kit. It's a fireplace installation with the flue exit in rear, a 6 " chimney liner. It's an old house with 28' from the stove flue to chimney top. Internal brick chimney.
DO I NEED A BAROMETRIC DAMPER ? There isn't much room but I may be able to squeeze one in above the tee.
Thanks

Behind the stove is fine. Im assuming you are using a block off plate in the chimney damper throat area? If so as long as it is on the stove/living space side of the block off plate you are fine.
