We have bought a woodburning stove and plan to install it onto our chimney on the inside wall.
My problem is that I wasn't going to install a chimney liner, I have a brick chimney with chimney pots, Can anyone tell me if they they think this will be ok?

If it is currently un-lined (with anything at all) then you definitely need a liner. If you have combustibles in contact with the brick, then you should get an insulated liner to the standards of UL 1777

Even if it is lined with Clay - you must get it inspected before use.
Clay often cracks, allowing dangerous gases into the home.
Be safe.
