does my cb 6048 have a blower of fan? sure sounds like it.

You usually here the solenoid for the damper but it goes away when it closes. Maybe it's the circulator if you have it installed at the boiler. I added a blower onto my 6048 but they don't come with it from the factory.
Try unplugging the circulator and see if thats it. On my CB if I had a small air bubble in the line somewhere, the circulator would hum.
