Don't try this at home......

It's not unusual to have a generator to produce electricity if you are away from town and often get power outages. But what this guy did was just downright dangerous. At least he got stopped before tragedy struck........

They don't really say what he actually did, other than "culpably and recklessly producing household electricity"...

He lives in an apartment block and seemed to have cans of gasoline up there to use in his home made generator.

To me, making electricity cannot be reckless in itself, but storing gasoline in an apartment block is potentially incredibly dangerous.

I am suprised that someone on this site hasnt made a steam generator....
