My son put a load in my stove and he has only did this a couple of times and he did a good job. But, I noticed the handle on my door was closed more than usual. Around a half inch more down or closed more. The load burned great better than ever. I do not think I was ever closing my door tight enough before. I give the handle just a little extra now what a difference now in my stove performance.
The gasket is only 2 years old and still looks real good. But, what a difference a simple thing like this makes and yes I did the dollar trick. I am dumbfounded.
