Hello All,
The door gasket on my Lopi is loose for 3-4inches, the rest of the gasket appears to be well adhered. I purchased a new gasket and cement but it seems a bit ridiculous to replace the entire gasket when only a small section is loose. The stove has two seasons of use and the gasket appears to be in good condition, seals well with the "dollar bill" test. Can I just use the cement on the loose section or is a complete replacement in order?
TIA, RT

Your not out of much to ply in some adhesive and give it a try. May not be happy if the rest of the gasket decides to let go in the middle of the season if someone did a poor cleaning etc when originally assembled.

Just did 2 doors last weekend. Mine and parents. each kit was $12.95 for 7 feet of rope and 1 tube of cement. The way I see it, if you are going to do work on it, might as well do it right.
