Question:

I have a double sided wood fire place with a single flue, that I would like to convert to gas. I have had a quote to bring the gas in, but so far have been unable to find a double sided insert. 2 singles will fit and we can run two liners up the flue, but I am wondering if it would be cheaper with a double sided.

Answer:

There are no double sided gas inserts that I know of...there are double-side logs, but no inserts. You will have to use two singles.
