Just saw on Drolets website the new design of the baltic, myriad, etc....stoves. C cast baffle and brick to the top. Perfect now.

Good. Glad to hear they're innovating their stoves a bit. That's one things I don't like about my Osburn: no brick to the top.
I think the Baltic II resembles the Osburn 2300 in terms of firebox size, bypass, etc

It does resemble the Osburn a lot more now. Expect a lot of the first generation Drolets will be showing up at some sweet clearance prices very soon.
