It should be a good strong heater. The only caveat I have is that it does not have an OAK connection if that is important.

Hey Matt,

Any decision on the Drolet HT 2000? I am also shopping around and the more I read about this stove, the more I'm liking it. Still don't know whether to go cat or no. My 10 year old Jotul F600 is almost ready for pasture. Replacing the baffle and tubes every couple of years is not cost effective no more. So I'd be interested to know if you found one more interesting than the Drolet. Thanks.

Hi from what is was told u get more heat out of a non cat stove. I also live in MN and I have a 2100 sq foot house so it should be plenty of heat for me.

Hey, good luck with it. Minnesota......Madonna!! That's cold! If the Drolet keeps you warm, then that's warm enough for me. I live 80 miles north of Yankee Stadium. It's cold here, but not like where you are.

Happy Splitting.
