Hello all, I have just caulked around some gaps in my black pipe between my wood stove and my chimney. How long should I wait before starting my fire in the stove?

It depends on the caulk. Most will be 24 hours.

Do you still have the tube to read the product designation from? It's usually possible to find a manufacturer data sheet online with cure time.

Also, is the caulk rated for where you're using it?

You should not be caulking your stove pipe there should be no need for it and hardly any caulks will withstand the temps.
