Local A&P;has Duralogs 1/2 off for $7.75 for a 24lb box, is this a bargain or not, i was going to cut up a box for starting fires

I wouldn't burn them in my insert if you paid for them and paid me to burn them.

I'll pass on that deal, thanks

Don't like them either but I do know where the inventor lives, I can ask him for some free bees.............

I thought A&P;went out of business in the 80's?

If they're the ones that come individually wrapped in paper packaging (also sold by HD), then I've used them before with excellent results. Go figure.

If using them as fire starters I don't really see a down side. I use a similar product, and just break them into small chunks. Works great.

Yes, I was assuming as fire starters........not as an actual heat source.

so what... you cut disks off them like a Gaines Burger ? interesting....~8 bucks makes you a lot of starters

I think it was one of those that my brother burned in his fireplace- smelled like burning plastic.

With nice pretty green flames I'll bet!
