Fellow quad guys, has anyone tried this?

With the massive window and low front lip of this thing, I find I can put lots more wood in loading north south. I would love to try an east west full load and see how she does. Anyone have any tips or tricks?

I've tried the E/W loading and prefer loading N/S. I believe I get a better burn since the air inlet into the stove seems to favor N/S loading - sends the air between the splits.

I also prefer N/S. It does seem to have a better burn, also it is much easier to get a full reload it N/S with hot coals in there.
