Hello,

I'm going to be installing an older stove this weekend and am not sure which one to use. They are both in great shape. Does anyone here know which one gives off more heat and which one is more reliable? The Earth Stove is definately fancier with the marble inserts on the top and front and the log kit. Another thing, the earth stove has a very strange burn pot? It's not a box it's almost like a plate with a hole that looks like it has pellets pushed onto it. Any info or advice would be great!!!!

Thanks!

I would vote the Whitfield for reliability and off the shelf replacement components.
