I purchased an Echo 501-P this past Spring as a lighter alternative to my heavy 620P. It is so much easier to use for a few hours at a time cutting up the mid-sized stuff.

Wondering if anyone on here knows what Oregon chain fits this? Saw isn't listed on their packaging and my local echo dealer makes their own chains but can't have one ready for me tomorrow, of course, when I need it.

I let someone borrow the saw and of course the chain came back in bad shape.

Thanks!

I don't know why no one has replied but here goes....

According to the Echo web site, the CS-501P uses their 20LPX chain. Looking closer at their web site shows that is a .325 pitch, .050 gauge, 72 drive link chain on an 18" bar.
and a .325 pitch, .050 gauge, 78 drive link on a 20" bar...

SAW

18" chain

Those numbers should also be on your saw's bar.. Like this..

So, those are the numbers you need to see on the box...

I could go to the Oregon web site, but I'll save that for you..

Good luck!!
