    Does anyone have any experience or comments about this model? Regular price is very close to the Ryobi splitter available at Home Depot.

    It works but doesn't like strandy wood like birch much.I suggest this.Go to cdn tire and write down the motor model number on the splitter.Then price the parts for it.Then do the same for the Ryobi. Just a thought and good luck.
