Been looking at one of these stoves, Model MC, cast iron, top/back flu. For emergency use to haul in as back up during long power outage. Any one know about these? Thanks
 
Yep, old cast iron stove that will throw heat, I can't find the thread but a ways back a guy on here really spent some time on his and fixed it up, can't find the thread using search though.

If used as a backup my question would be what would you do for a chimney?

I have exterior block chimney in good shape I used for my coal stove that I sold. Thanks for the link
